We have an avatar session in the Media Studies module I teach. It's more about making an avatar that speaks to viewers in another language than interpreting the avatars of a social network. But some of the lessons apply both ways.

Taking the michael a bit there, but seriously, I find that kind of thing interesting. Any recommended online reading?
No, the @ACUK avatar is cuddly yet scholarly. Creating that effect suggests confidence at source.
